History

Esporte Clube Sírio was founded in 1913 by a community of Syrian immigrants in São Paulo. It actively participated in the Paulista championships in the 1920s and 1930s, being one of the most traditional clubs in the region. It won multiple state titles and maintains a fervent fan base to this day. It represented important moments in Paulista football, competing against great names in the local scene.
