Elche CF is a traditional club from the Valencian Community, founded in 1923 and has competed in the Spanish First Division since its foundation.

History

Elche CF was founded in 1923 and established itself as an important club in the Valencia region, Spain. The club participated in European competitions in several periods and has had the Martínez Valero stadium as its home since 1940. During the 1950s to 1980s, it experienced moments of prominence winning regional titles. In recent times, the club has alternated between the first and second divisions.
