History

Étoile Sportive du Sahel was founded in 1925 in the city of Sousse, on the Tunisian coast, and became one of the country's great clubs alongside Espérance, Club Africain and CS Sfaxien. Red and white are the club's colors. On the continental stage, Étoile won the CAF Confederation Cup in 2006 and 2015. In 2007 it won the most important title in its history, the CAF Champions League. The club plays its home matches at Stade Olympique de Sousse, a stadium with capacity for about 28,000 fans.
