History

Futebol Clube Cascavel was founded in 2013 in the city of Cascavel, in the western interior of Paraná, emerging as a project to fill the void left by organized football in the region. From the start, the club invested in infrastructure and strategic signings to accelerate its growth process. Already in the first half of the 2010s, FC Cascavel progressed through Paraná's football divisions with consistency, demonstrating organization and competitiveness above what was expected for such a young club. Home matches at Estádio Olímpico Regional Arnaldo Busato guaranteed support from the local fans and an intimidating atmosphere for visiting teams. In 2018, the club experienced its greatest moment by winning the Paraná State Championship for the first time, celebrating with Cascavel's fans a historic achievement that definitively placed the club on the map of state football. The feat represented the consolidation of a sports project launched just five years earlier. The club maintains regular participation in Series C and D of the Brazilian Championship, consolidating its presence in national football and serving as a breeding ground for talents for football in Paraná and Brazil.
