History

FC Cincinnati was founded in 2015 and began its activities in the United Soccer League, quickly standing out for its large attendance at matches. In 2019 the club joined Major League Soccer as an expansion team, initially competing at Nippert Stadium before the opening of TQL Stadium, an arena built specifically for the club in 2021. In the following years, FC Cincinnati evolved athletically, winning the Supporters Shield for the best regular season campaign in MLS in 2023, its main achievement to date, under the command of coach Pat Noonan.
