Oeste Futebol Clube

Football club from the state of São Paulo founded in Itápolis, currently based in Barueri, with appearances in Serie B of the Brazilian Championship.

History

Oeste Futebol Clube was founded in 1912 in the city of Itápolis, in the interior of São Paulo, and for decades competed in modest regional competitions. From the 2010s onwards, the club began playing its matches at Arena Barueri, in the São Paulo metropolitan region, seeking greater visibility and infrastructure. During this period, it experienced its most prominent phase, competing in Serie B of the Brazilian Championship and the Copa do Brasil in several editions. The club also participated in the Paulista Championship, achieving good campaigns in the state's top divisions. Over time, it faced financial difficulties that led it to reduce its activities, but it maintained its youth training academy.
