Atlético Gama Association

Atlético Gama Association is the main club of the Federal District, founded in 1974 and multiple champion of the Brasiliense Championship. The Azure of the Cerrado is a symbol of Candango football and has already competed in CBF national divisions.

History

Founded on February 26, 1974 in Gama, DF, AA Gama quickly became a reference in Brasiliense football. The club competed in the Brasiliense Championship countless times, accumulating more than ten regional titles and projecting itself into CBF national divisions. Walmir Campelo Bezerra Stadium, the Bezerrão, is the home of the blue supporters and stage of the club's greatest achievements. The structure became a symbol of football in the Federal District. Throughout its history, Gama participated in Series B and Series C of the Brazilian Championship, representing with dignity the football of the federal capital. The club developed players who went on to careers in teams of greater national expression. The Azure of the Cerrado maintains a passionate fan base and consolidated tradition, being one of the main clubs in the history of Federal District football alongside Brasiliense.
