History
Founded in 1918 in the city of Ceará-Mirim, in Rio Grande do Norte, Globo Futebol Clube is one of the oldest and most traditional clubs in the interior of the state. Throughout its history, it has accumulated significant participations in the Potiguar Championship, being one of the main representatives of interior football compared to the teams from the capital, Natal. The club also competed in editions of the Série D of the Brazilian Championship, seeking to represent Rio Grande do Norte in national access competitions. With a strong local identity, Globo maintains its loyal fan base in Ceará-Mirim and the surrounding region, being an important part in the development of players for Rio Grande do Norte football.
