History

Goytacaz FC was founded in 1913 in the city of Campos dos Goytacazes. The club won important titles in the Carioca Championship during the 1960s and 1970s. Participated in the Copa do Brasil on several occasions. Despite facing financial difficulties, the institution remains active in the Fluminense football scene.
