History
Esporte Clube Novo Hamburgo was founded in 1938 in the city of Novo Hamburgo, in the Vale dos Sinos region, in Rio Grande do Sul. Throughout its history, it has disputed several editions of the Campeonato Gaucho, alternating between the elite and the access divisions of state football. The club is known for revealing players to larger clubs in the state and in the country, serving as a talent hub in the Vale dos Sinos region. Currently it competes in state competitions, seeking to consolidate itself again among the main clubs of Rio Grande do Sul.
