History

Founded in 1911, Gremio Esportivo Brasil is one of the oldest clubs in Rio Grande do Sul, with a relevant history in Pelotas football. Throughout the decades, the club alternated participations in national and state divisions, maintaining itself as a sports reference in the southern region of the state. Bento Freitas, its stadium, has been the traditional venue for gaucho inland football games to this day.
