Gaucho club from the city of Vacaria, traditional in amateur and semi-professional football in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul.

History

Founded in 1980, Grêmio Esportivo Imperial emerged as a neighborhood association in the city of Vacaria, in the north of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Over the decades, it competed in municipal and regional competitions, serving as a breeding ground for players to larger clubs in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul. The club never achieved major state projection, but remains active in amateur and grassroots tournaments, being a community reference for the practice of football in the mountainous region of the state.
