Guarani de Campinas

Founded in 1911, Guarani de Campinas is a historic club from the interior of São Paulo state with a trajectory of relevance in Brazilian football over more than a century.

History

Guarani de Campinas was founded on January 4, 1911, as a result of the merger between Guarani FC and Campinas AC. The club won the Campeonato Paulista on six occasions (1912, 1920, 1926, 1954, 1961, 1962), establishing itself as one of the leading forces in the interior of São Paulo state. The Brinco de Ouro stadium, built in 1913, is one of the oldest in Brazil and represents the club's presence since its foundation. It regularly participated in Serie A of the Brazilian Championship and produced several quality players. Despite facing financial difficulties in recent years, Guarani maintains its historical importance and continues to represent Campinas in football.
