History

Guarani Esporte Clube was founded in 1988 in the municipality of Palhoça, in the metropolitan region of Florianópolis. Throughout its trajectory, the club alternated participations between the lower divisions of Catarinense football, seeking a spot in the state elite. The team built a strong identity in the local community, serving as a breeding ground for players for major clubs in Santa Catarina. In recent years, Guarani de Palhoça has invested in youth categories as a way to maintain competitiveness in the state's lower divisions.
