Club Atlético Huracán
Huracán is a club from the Parque Patricios neighborhood in Buenos Aires, founded in 1908. Known as 'El Globo', the club experienced its greatest glory in the 1970s, when it became Argentine champion with an offensive and attractive style of play. The Tomás Ducó stadium is one of the most traditional venues in Buenos Aires football.
History
Huracán won the Argentine Championship in 1973 with a playing style praised throughout the country, under the management of coach César Luis Menotti. This team was a precursor of the attacking football that Menotti would later use to win the World Cup in 1978 with the Argentine national team. The club has produced important talents for Argentine football throughout its centennial history. Despite not having the same number of titles as its great rivals, Huracán is respected for its identity and history.
