Inhumas Esporte Clube
Football club from the city of Inhumas, in the interior of Goiás, founded in 1944. It is one of the traditional representatives of Goiás football outside the capital, competing in state and national youth competitions.
History
Inhumas Esporte Clube was founded on June 1st, 1944 in the city of Inhumas, in the metropolitan region of Goiânia, becoming one of the oldest clubs in the interior of Goiás. Throughout its history, the club established itself as a regular participant in the Goiás State Championship in its different divisions, also serving as a developer of athletes for larger teams in the state. The team plays its home games at Estádio Zico Brandão, in Inhumas, and is known by local supporters as Pantera Avinhada, a nickname that refers to the club's symbol. In recent years, Inhumas has sought greater national projection, participating in competitions organized by the CBF. In 2026, the club is part of a group of 96 teams competing in Serie D of the Brazilian Championship, the fourth national division, reflecting the expansion of the number of participants defined by the CBF for that season.
