Internacional de Bagé

A historic club from the interior of Rio Grande do Sul, one of the most traditional teams in the Campanha region, with significant participations in the Campeonato Gaúcho.

History

Founded in 1908 in the city of Bagé, in the far south of Rio Grande do Sul, Internacional de Bagé is one of the oldest clubs in the interior region. Throughout its history, it competed in several editions of the Campeonato Gaúcho, becoming one of the traditional representatives of the border with Uruguay. The club experienced its best moments between the 1920s and 1950s, a period when it rivaled other associations in the Campanha region, such as Guarany de Bagé. It remained active in state-level access competitions throughout the 20th century. Currently, the club maintains activities focused on amateur football and youth development, preserving its historic identity in the city of Bagé.
