Women's football department of Sport Club Internacional, reactivated in 2015 and today one of the main forces in women's football in Rio Grande do Sul.

History

Internacional resumed its women's team in 2015, decades after having had an amateur team in women's football in Rio Grande do Sul in the 1980s. With the restructuring, the club began to compete in the Brazilian Women's Championship and the Gaucho Women's Championship professionally. The team became one of the main protagonists of women's football in Rio Grande do Sul, revealing athletes for the Brazilian National Team and also competing in South American club competitions.
