History

Founded in 1970 in the city of Itabaiana, the club quickly established itself as one of the main forces in interior Sergipe football, winning several state titles throughout its trajectory. Itabaiana has already represented Sergipe in national competitions, including participation in Series C and Series D of the Brazilian Championship, as well as participation in the Copa do Nordeste. Known for its loyal fan base and strength in its stadium, the Aldeião, the club maintains a historic rivalry with the main teams from the state capital, being a symbol of resistance of interior football.
