Itacoatiara Football Club

Itacoatiara Football Club is a multi-sports club in the interior of Amazonas, founded to represent the city of the same name in football and futsal, including women's categories.

History

The club was created on February 11, 2017 by the initiative of businessman João Carlos from Itacoatiara, who envisioned a sports project to represent the city of Itacoatiara in competitions organized by the Amazonas Football Federation. In addition to professional men's field football, Itacoatiara stood out in youth categories and futsal, expanding its activities to women's football in the years following its foundation. In 2025, the club's women's team competed in the Brazilian Women's Football Championship Series A2, competing in Group B alongside teams such as Paysandu, Remo and Fortaleza, a milestone in the club's recent trajectory.
