Atlético Junior
Atlético Junior, popularly known as Junior de Barranquilla, is the most important club on the Colombian Caribbean Coast and one of the largest in the country. Founded in 1924, the club is a symbol of pride for the city of Barranquilla and carries the tradition of Colombian Caribbean football.
History
With multiple Colombian League titles, Junior de Barranquilla is one of the most successful clubs in national football. The club had in Carlos 'El Pibe' Valderrama one of its greatest idols, a player who became a symbol of Colombian football in the world. In recent years, the club has returned to winning national championships, reaffirming its position of prominence in Colombian football.
