Juventude 1994
Juventude's 1994 campaign won the Brazilian Series B Championship, bringing Caxias do Sul back to Brazil's top division. This campaign marked the beginning of the strongest period in the gaucho club's history.
History
Esporte Clube Juventude was founded on June 29, 1913, in Caxias do Sul, by descendants of Italian immigrants from Serra Gaúcha. The club plays its home matches at Estádio Alfredo Jaconi and has worn green and white since its foundation. In 1994, Juventude became champions of the Brazilian Series B Championship, their first national title in history. The achievement guaranteed promotion to the elite and projected the club onto the national stage. The 1994 promotion opened the path for the club's most victorious phase, which culminated in winning the Copa do Brasil in 1999, the greatest title in Juventude's history.
