Esporte Clube Juventude Feminino

The women's department of Esporte Clube Juventude represents the Gaucho club in Brazilian women's football, playing its matches at the traditional Estádio Alfredo Jaconi, in Caxias do Sul (RS).

History

Esporte Clube Juventude was founded in 1899 by Italian immigrants in Caxias do Sul, in Rio Grande do Sul, and throughout the 20th century established itself as one of the main clubs in the state's interior, with recurring participations in the Brazilian Championship. The club's women's football gained structure and investment in recent years, following the growth of the sport in the country, and began competing in state and national competitions organized by the Gaucho Football Federation and by the CBF. With the strengthening of the project, Juventude's women's team advanced through the access divisions of national women's football, eventually competing in the elite of the Brazilian Women's Championship, using the club's training facility and Estádio Alfredo Jaconi as the venue for its matches.
