Founded in 1913 by descendants of Italian immigrants in Caxias do Sul, Juventude is one of the most traditional clubs in Rio Grande do Sul. Its greatest national title is the 1999 Copa do Brasil, an achievement that led the club to the Copa Libertadores.

History

Esporte Clube Juventude was founded on June 29, 1913 by young people from Caxias do Sul, descendants of Italian immigrants. Alfredo Jaconi Stadium, inaugurated in 1975, is the club's fortress. The club experienced its peak in the late 1990s, winning the 1999 Copa do Brasil by defeating major national football teams and securing a spot in the Copa Libertadores. With a strong regional identity and loyal fans, Juventude represents the pride of Serra Gaúcha.
