Argentine club from the southern area of Greater Buenos Aires, founded in 1915. Known as the 'biggest neighborhood club in the world', Granate conquered two South American Cup titles (2013 and 2025) and reached the Copa Libertadores final in 2017, eliminating River Plate in the semifinals.

History

Founded on January 3rd, 1915 in the city of Lanús, the club took decades to establish itself in elite Argentine football. Its first national title came in 2007. In 2013, it conquered its first international trophy by winning the South American Cup over Ponte Preta. The great moment was reaching the 2017 Libertadores final. In 2025, Granate returned to be South American champion by defeating Atlético Mineiro on penalties (5x4) in the South American Cup final, disputed in Asunción, Paraguay.
