History
Legião Futebol Clube was founded in 2016 in the federal capital with the objective of establishing itself in the competitive football landscape of the Federal District, historically dominated by clubs such as Brasiliense, Gama, and Ceilândia. Already in its first season of existence, the club surprised by winning the Brasiliense Championship title (Candangão), a rare achievement for a newly created team. Following immediate success, Legião went on to compete in national competitions, including participations in Series D of the Brazilian Championship, seeking to consolidate its structure and expand its fan base in the region. The club is today one of the youngest professional football associations in the Brasília football landscape, maintaining the objective to grow gradually within the access system of national football.
