Club León F.C.

Club León is the leading club in the state of Guanajuato and one of the most traditional in Mexican football. Founded in 1944, the club has a rich history of achievements and is known as 'La Fiera'. León Stadium, with a capacity of over 30,000 fans, is the home of green passion.

History

León won eight Mexican Championship titles, with most of them in the 1940s and 1950s, when it was the main force in national football. After years of drought, the club regained prominence in the 2010s, winning the MX League in 2013 and 2014. In 2020, it reached the CONCACAF Champions League final. The club remains a reference in Mexican football.
