Londrina Esporte Clube
Londrina Esporte Clube is the main football club in northern Paraná, founded in 1956. Known as the 'Shark', it has a tradition in Paraná football and has already competed in the elite of Brazilian football.
History
Founded on October 21, 1956 in the city of Londrina, Londrina EC quickly became a reference in northern Paraná football. The club reached Serie A of the Brazilian Championship in the 1970s and 1980s, with great campaigns. Its stadium, Estádio do Café, was for a long time considered one of the most modern in Brazil, having hosted international matches and Brazilian National Team matches. The club won multiple Paraná State Championship titles and maintains a strong fan base in the northern region of the state.
