History
Malmö FF reached the UEFA European Cup final in 1979, losing to Brian Clough's Nottingham Forest, becoming the only Scandinavian club to reach the tournament's final. The club dominated Swedish football in the 1970s and 1980s and became competitive again in the European scene from the 2010s onwards. It revealed Zlatan Ibrahimović, one of the greatest Swedish players of all time, who started his career at Malmö before becoming a global star. The club has regularly participated in Champions League group stages in the last decade.
