Throughout its history, the team established itself as one of the traditional forces of Catarinense football, alternating appearances between the first and second divisions of the state. The club has already competed in national competitions organized by CBF in its access series, representing the Itajaí Valley region. It is recognized by its loyal fan base and for the rivalry with other clubs in the Catarinese port region.
