Millwall FC
Traditional club from south London, known for its passionate fanbase and for historically competing in the second and third divisions of English football.
History
Millwall Football Club was founded in 1885 by workers from a canning factory on the Isle of Dogs in east London, before moving to the south of the city, where it has been based to this day at The Den stadium. The club has never competed in the Premier League since its creation in 1992, but had spells in the English first division in previous decades, as well as an FA Cup final in 2004, when it was defeated by Manchester United. Known for its historic rivalry with West Ham United and for a passionate fanbase, Millwall is one of the most traditional clubs in London football outside the elite, maintaining competitiveness in the Championship over the years.
