In the 2020s, the club began a rapid climb through the divisions of the Brazilian Championship, with planning and squad stability. With promotion achieved in the 2024 Serie B, Mirassol played in Serie A for the first time in 2025. Led by coach Rafael Guanaes, the team from a city with just over 60,000 inhabitants surprised traditional clubs and remained in the upper portion of the table throughout the competition.
