Founded on November 9, 1925 in the city of Mirassol, in inland São Paulo, the club spent decades competing in regional competitions and lower divisions. In 2024, it achieved unprecedented promotion to Serie A of the Brasileirão by defeating Chapecoense in the final round of Serie B.
