Club de Fútbol Monterrey
Club de Fútbol Monterrey, known as Rayados, is one of the most popular and well-structured clubs in Mexico. Based in Monterrey, the largest city in the northern part of the country, the club plays its matches at the modern BBVA Stadium, inaugurated in 2015. It is one of the fiercest rivals of Tigres UANL in the so-called 'Clásico Regio'.
History
Monterrey has won six Mexican League titles and is one of the most successful clubs in the CONCACAF Champions League, with five trophies. In recent decades, it has become one of the leading clubs in North American football, attracting high-level players. The classic against Tigres is considered one of the most intense in North America. The club has also participated in the FIFA Club World Cup in multiple editions.
