NAC Breda is a football club from the city of Breda, in southern Netherlands, that competes in the Eredivisie. It was Dutch champion in 1921 and plays its home matches at Rat Verlegh Stadium.

History

NAC Breda was founded in 1912, from the merger of two clubs from the city, NOAD and ADVENDO. Since then, it has represented Breda in Dutch professional football. The greatest title in the club's history is the Dutch Championship of 1920-21, won in a time when the country's football was still amateur. In the following decades, NAC alternated between seasons in the top division and the second division. The club plays its home matches at Rat Verlegh Stadium and is known for its yellow and black uniform. After spending years in the second division, it returned to the Eredivisie in 2023, through the playoff promotion system.
