Nacional Athletic Club

Founded in 1913, Nacional-AC is one of the most traditional clubs in Acre football, with several state titles won throughout its history.

History

Nacional Atlético Clube was born in Rio Branco, the capital of Acre, in the early twentieth century, quickly becoming one of the protagonists of local football. Over the decades, the club competed in countless editions of the Acre Championship, accumulating state titles and historically rivaling Atlético Acreano. In recent decades, Nacional-AC has also competed in national competitions organized by the CBF, such as Series D and Copa do Brasil, seeking greater projection outside the state. Despite the structural difficulties common to clubs in the North of the country, the team maintains tradition and loyal fans in Rio Branco.
