History

Nacional Atlético Clube was founded in Patrocínio, a city in the Alto Paranaíba region of Minas Gerais, becoming over the years one of the main sports organizations in the municipality. The club regularly competes in the promotion divisions of the Minas Gerais Championship, organized by the Minas Gerais Football Federation. Throughout its history, Nacional functioned as a training center for athletes from the Alto Paranaíba region, contributing to the development of amateur and semi-professional football in the city, which is also known for its coffee production. Despite not achieving major state titles, the club maintains local relevance, being a source of pride for the Patrocínio community.
