Náutico Futebol Clube
Football club from Boa Vista, capital of Roraima, founded in 1944. It is one of the state's most traditional clubs and competes in the Roraima State Championship.
History
Náutico Futebol Clube was founded in 1944 in Boa Vista, when Roraima football was still amateur and organized around social and recreational clubs linked to the Rio Branco river. With the professionalization of football in Roraima, the club began to compete in the Roraima State Championship, a competition organized by the Roraima Football Federation, and became one of the recurring names in state competitions. Playing at Flamarion Vasconcelos Stadium, known as Canarinho, Náutico de Roraima faces the typical structural difficulties of football in the North region, marked by long distances, high travel costs and a restricted calendar. Despite the limitations, the club maintains historical relevance as a representative of Roraima's capital and is part of the group of clubs that sustained local football since the time when Roraima was still the Federal Territory of Rio Branco.
