New York Red Bulls

The New York Red Bulls is one of the most traditional clubs in the MLS, founded in 1994 as the New York MetroStars. After the acquisition by Red Bull in 2006, the club gained a new name and began playing at Red Bull Arena, in Harrison, New Jersey. It is one of the American clubs with the largest number of regular fans.

History

The New York Red Bulls won the Supporters' Shield multiple times, but still seeks its first MLS Cup title. The club is known for its aggressive playing style, shaped by the high-pressure philosophy typical of Red Bull teams around the world. Thierry Henry, one of the greatest players in football history, played for the club between 2010 and 2014. Currently, the Red Bulls remains one of the main teams in the MLS East.
