History
Founded in 1904, Nice adopted red and black colors following a merger in 1924. The 1950s represented its golden era, with four Ligue 1 titles (1951, 1952, 1956, and 1959) and two French Cups. In the following decades it alternated between divisions, but re-established itself in the French elite in the 21st century, attracting renowned players such as Hatem Ben Arfa and Mario Balotelli. Under INEOS group ownership since 2019, it underwent modernization and increasing European ambitions.
