History
Nova Mutum Football Club was founded in 2020 in the city of Nova Mutum, in the interior of Mato Grosso, with the objective of professionalizing the region's football and revealing young talents to the national scene. In a short time, the club began to invest heavily in youth categories, building a modern training center by regional standards. The team quickly gained prominence by competing in national youth competitions organized by the CBF, such as the São Paulo Junior Football Cup, drawing attention for its administrative organization and the technical quality of its athletes. The club's management model, focused on player development and sales, became a reference among emerging clubs in the state. In the Mato Grosso Championship, Nova Mutum established itself as a competitive team, competing in the state football promotion divisions and seeking space among the traditional clubs of Cuiabá and Várzea Grande. The club's accelerated growth reflects the investment by local agribusiness in the region's sport.
