Operario Ferroviario Women's Team

Women's team of Operario Ferroviario, from Ponta Grossa, created to represent the club in women's football competitions in Paraná and Brazil.

History

The women's team of Operario Ferroviario was structured to expand the club's participation in Brazilian women's football, competing in the Paraná Women's Championship and national access competitions. The team began to be part of the CBF calendar in access divisions, seeking to consolidate a base of athletes for women's football in the interior of Paraná. The project accompanied the growth of the sport in the country in the second half of the 2010s and in the early 2020s.
