History

Founded in 1955 in the city of Varzea Grande, Operario Futebol Clube established itself as one of the main forces in Mato Grosso football, competing in several editions of the Mato Grosso Championship. The club has already participated in national competitions such as Serie D of the Brazilian Championship, representing the metropolitan region of Cuiaba in tournaments of national scope. With Arena Verdao as its home, Operario-VG maintains the tradition of developing local athletes and historical rivalry with other clubs in the state.
