History
Founded in 2010 as a USL team, Orlando City SC joined MLS in 2015 as an expansion team, quickly building one of the most loyal fanbases in the North American league. The club played its home matches at Citrus Bowl before the inauguration of its own stadium, currently called Inter&Co Stadium, in 2017. In 2022, Orlando City won its first major national title by winning the US Open Cup, defeating Sacramento Republic in the final. The club also maintains an affiliated women's team, Orlando Pride, which competes in the NWSL.
