History
Founded in 1970 by the merger of Paris FC and Saint-Germain-en-Laye, PSG won its first Ligue 1 title in 1986. The radical transformation took place in 2011 with the purchase by Qatar Sports Investments. Since then, the club has dominated French football, signing great stars like Ibrahimović, Neymar and Mbappé. In 2020, it reached its first Champions League final, losing to Bayern Munich. The pursuit of the European title remains its main objective.
