FK Partizan reached the final of the European Cup in 1966, being defeated by Real Madrid, which remains its greatest continental achievement. The club dominated Yugoslav football alongside Red Star Belgrade for decades, winning countless national titles. It revealed talents such as Savo Milošević, Predrag Mijatović and more recently Aleksandar Mitrović to European football.
