History

Founded in 1935 in the city of Penápolis, in inland São Paulo, Penapolense built its history by competing in Serie A2 and A3 of the Campeonato Paulista. The club gained national prominence by participating in CBF competitions across different decades, being one of the main teams in the Northwest São Paulo region. Despite never consistently reaching the elite of São Paulo football, Penapolense is recognized for developing athletes who went on to pursue careers at larger clubs, serving as a talent source for the state's football. The club maintains strong ties with the local community, being one of Penápolis's sports symbols, and continues to compete in regional competitions seeking promotion to higher divisions.
