Petropolis Football Club

History
Founded in 1914 in Petrópolis, the club was born from the passion for football that took over the region. In its early decades, it regularly competed in the Carioca Championship and Fluminense state competitions. The peak of its participations occurred between the 1960s and 1980s, when Petropolis FC was a regular in the main regional competitions. General Severiano Stadium became an icon of the city, the stage for memorable confrontations. Over the years, the club developed several players who went on to other more prominent institutions.
