Piauí Sports Club

One of the most traditional clubs in Piauí football, Piauí Sports Club has a history of fierce disputes with River-PI and Flamengo-PI for the state championship.

History

Founded in the early 20th century in Teresina, Piauí Sports Club established itself as one of the traditional forces in state football, accumulating state titles throughout its history. The club plays its matches at Estádio Lindolfo Monteiro, also known popularly as Lindolfão, one of the main venues for Piauí football. Over the decades, Piauí has alternated participation in national access competitions, such as Série D, maintaining relevance mainly in the state scenario, where it plays historic classics.
