Pinheirense Esporte Clube
Founded in 1919 in Belém, Pará, Pinheirense Esporte Clube is one of the historic clubs of Pará football, having competed in state competitions over more than a century of existence alongside traditional local rivals such as Paysandu and Remo.
History
Pinheirense Esporte Clube emerged in the late 1910s in Belém, a period of strong effervescence in the creation of sports associations in the Pará capital, driven by the expansion of amateur football in the Amazon region. Throughout much of the 20th century, the club participated in state championships organized by the Pará federation, occupying a relevant position in the local scene even without achieving the same national prominence as Paysandu and Remo, the two major clubs in the state. Currently, Pinheirense maintains activity mainly in amateur and youth competitions in Pará, preserving its history as one of the oldest clubs still operating in the Pará capital.
